Danny Kanell Shows Support For ESPN’s Ryen Russillo After Arrest

Danny Kanell, the former co-host of “Russillo & Kanell” on ESPN Radio, is coming to the defense of his former colleague Ryen Russillo.

After Russillo was arrested early Wednesday morning on a charge of criminal entry, Kanell took to social media to share a message of support for his good friend and former co-host.

Kanell wanted Russillo to know he has his back, while also acknowledging the unfortunate circumstances that come with living a public life.

I’ve got my guy Russillo’s back all day every day. We’ve all been there. Just sucks that his has to be put out there.

Russillo was arrested after he entered a condo while highly intoxicated. The ESPN Radio host reportedly refused to leave because he was incoherent and too intoxicated, after being discovered asleep with his pants around his ankles.

It’s obviously a very embarrassing arrest for Russillo and one that he will have to address with his current employer.

However, it’s also good to see that he has a friend there willing to support him through a difficult time.
