ESPN College GameDay Panel Leaves Big 12 Out Of College Football Playoff

|

The ESPN College GameDay crew isn’t going to be making any Big 12 football fans happy this weekend.

On Saturday, when the panel came together for its 2017 season preview show, Lee Corso, Kirk Herbstreit and Desmond Howard all provided their predictions for the College Football Playoff foursome.

While not everyone agreed on the four teams who will play in the postseason, they all agreed that none of those teams would come from the Big 12.

Ouch.

Herbstreit and Corso followed conventional wisdom and predicted Alabama, Florida State, Ohio State and USC. Howard went way out in left field to pick  Alabama, Miami, Stanford and Wisconsin.

All three men have different national champions, however.

Corso went with USC, Herbstreit went with Ohio State and Howard chose Stanford. The common thread in the national championship predictions was each man chose their winner to defeat Alabama.

Who do you think will reach the College Football Playoff and come away with the national title? Sound off in the comments section below with your thoughts and predictions.
