The 2017 college football season is officially underway and FAMU has delivered the first touchdown.
On Saturday afternoon, the Florida A&M Rattlers played host to the Texas Southern Tigers at Bragg Memorial Stadium in Tallahassee. The two FCS programs were deadlocked through most of the first quarter, before FAMU found the endzone with just under three minutes remaining in the quarter.
The Rattlers scored when quarterback Ryan Stanley saw pressure up the middle and scrambled outside for a nine-yard run to get FAMU on the board.
