Clemson Trolls Ohio State Marching Band In A Major Way


Last season the Clemson Tigers and the Ohio State Buckeyes met in the College Football Playoff. It wasn’t nearly as competitive as many thought it would be, and the Tigers cruised to a 31-0 victory.

With the 2017 season underway, they took the opportunity to twist the knife a little bit.

Ohio State has long been considered to be the torch bearer for marching band excellence. An organized and well-oiled unit of music-makers, it’s an honor to be asked to “dot the i” when the band spells the word “Ohio” on the field.

Take a look at what Clemson’s marching band did:


Ohio State might get the last laugh this season, though. They’re expected to be a juggernaut and appear in the College Football Playoff again this season. Clemson’s immediate future is in more doubt after losing marquee players to the draft and graduation.

On the day where Clemson also revealed the banner they hung to commemorate their championship victory, they found a multitude of ways to celebrate last seasons success.
