Baker Mayfield Plants Oklahoma Flag On Ohio State's Field After Win

Oklahoma star Baker Mayfield finally got the revenge he was waiting for.
On Saturday night, Mayfield led the Sooners to a dominant victory over the No. 2 Ohio State Buckeyes in Columbus. It was just a season ago that Ohio State upended Oklahoma in Norman, and Mayfield wasn’t about to lose to the team twice — especially after what they did following their victory.
After Ohio State beat Oklahoma in 2016, Buckeyes players sang the Ohio State fight song on the Sooners’ field.
So when Oklahoma won on Saturday, Mayfield and company returned the favor.
Mayfield and his teammates gathered at midfield of Ohio Stadium and planted the Oklahoma University flag at the 50-yard line for the world to see.

Now that’s a celebration and the perfect way to get back at Ohio State for last year’s game. I think we need to renew this series and get a fun little non-conference rivalry going. There’s certainly plenty of reason for bad blood.
