AP Top 25 College Football Rankings – Week 2

Another wild weekend of college football is in the books and the latest AP Top 25 poll was released on Sunday afternoon following Week 2.
Once again, the Alabama Crimson Tide reign supreme in the college football world, topping the AP Poll with 58 of a possible 61 first-place votes. Oklahoma and Clemson, ranked No. 2 and No. 3 respectively, received the remaining first-place nods.
The Sooners made the move from No. 5 to No. 2 after a dominant victory over the Ohio State Buckeyes, who fell six spots to No. 8.
Rounding out the top five are the USC Trojans, who secured a big win over Stanford on Saturday night, and the Penn State Nittany Lions, who knocked off rival Pitt to get revenge for a loss a year ago that kept the Nittany Lions out of the College Football Playoff.
