Late Wednesday night, Craig Carton resigned from his position at WFAN in New York while he deals with an ongoing FBI investigation.
On Thursday morning, Boomer Esiason, Carton’s former partner, addressed Carton’s resignation to start off his newly branded show, The Morning Show with Boomer.
A somber Esiason touched on what you can expect from the show moving forward, while continuing to show overwhelming support for Carton and his family while they face what is ahead of them.

“It’s a sad day, it’s the end of Boomer and Carton and for 10 years I sat next to somebody who I think — and I still believe this — is one of the greatest personalities, radio personalities, that we’ll have ever seen. I had certainly the privilege for 10 years to sit next to him and watch him do his thing every single day for four hours,” Esiason said.
“So I wish Craig and his family nothing but the best and I want him to put all of his energy into fighting and I think we have to put all of our energy into this radio program.”
Carton was arrested last Wednesday and charged with securities fraud, wire fraud and conspiracy in a $5.6 million Ponzi scheme.
