On Friday afternoon, OutkickTheCoverage.com’s Clay Travis appeared on CNN for an interview with Brooke Baldwin to discuss ESPN SportsCenter anchor Jemele Hill’s criticism of Donald Trump and ESPN’s reaction.
In typical Clay Travis fashion, things went off the rails very quickly.
While trying to make some unintelligible point, Travis decided to throw in some shock factor by saying he “only believes in two things: the First Amendment in boobs.”
Baldwin was understandably stunned and wasn’t sure she heard Travis correctly, but he continued to repeat the word over and over.
After a few minutes, Baldwin finally had enough of Travis’ repetition, cut his mic and booted him off the air.
“I’m done. I’m sorry, I’m done,” Baldwin said. “This is conversation over; yanking mics. Bye. See ya.
“That was entirely inappropriate and just forgive me that it took a second. Live television happens and you think you hear something, but you’re not really sure. Then you realize it happened, so I apologize for him and that. Let’s move on.”

Of course, Clay Travis got exactly what he wanted: attention. Do you think the White House will call him out for “inappropriate” comments and ask for his firing, though? Probably not since he wasn’t mean to Mr. Trump.
