On Saturday night, the Ultimate Fighting Championship returned to the Steel City for UFC Pittsburgh, officially known as UFC Fight Night 116.

The event was headlined by a middleweight bout featuring top 15 contenders Luke Rockhold and David Branch. Both men entered the night looking to climb the ladder at 185-pounds to potentially knock on the door of a title shot, but it was the former champion Rockhold who scored the big win.

Overall, it was a night full of finishes. Eight of the ten fights on the night ended before the final bell.

Performance of the Night bonuses went to Mike Perry and Uriah Hall, both who scored big knockouts, while Fight of the Night honors went to Gregor Gillespie and Jason Gonzalez.
