For the first time ever, ESPN College GameDay aired live from Times Square in New York City to bring in Week 4 of the college football season.
It was a melting pot of fans from all across the nation that created a unique environment we aren’t accustomed to seeing when College GameDay rolls into town on a typical Saturday morning.
But the show delivered and prepared us for the full day of action ahead.
To end the show, the College GameDay crew — joined by celebrity guest picker Keegan-Michael Key, who rocked an incredible James Franklin impression earlier in the day — went through their weekly picks before it come down to Lee Corso and his headgear pick.
When it came time to unveil his choice for the Week 4 headgear pick, Corso switched things up.
Rather than picking one of the top games on the schedule, Corso dressed up as Lady Liberty and officially declared New York City a college football town.
