FWAA-NFF Super 16 Poll, Week 4: Georgia Rises, Oklahoma State Plummets

Week 4 of the college football season is in the books which means the Football Writers Association of America and National Football Foundation have revealed the latest FWAA-NFF Super 16 poll.
Once again, the Alabama Crimson Tide sit atop the poll with 40 of a possible 48 first-place votes.
The other two teams to receive first-place votes are Clemson and Oklahoma. The Tigers, ranked No. 2, received seven votes, while Oklahoma received one.
Rounding out the top five was last year’s Rose Bowl participants, Penn State and USC.
The Big Ten led all conferences with four teams. The ACC, Big 12, Pac-12 and SEC each had three teams in the poll.

The USA Today Coaches Poll and AP Top 25 poll will be released later today.
