During the first half of Sunday’s game between the Seattle Seahawks and Tennessee Titans, star cornerback Richard Sherman nearly sparked a brawl after a big hit to Marcus Mariota out of bounds.
The first Titans player to get in Sherman’s face following the late hit was offensive tackle Taylor Lewan, who had to be pulled away after a lengthy exchange.
Sherman, who was already with one personal foul, received an unnecessary roughness flag on the play.
However, because of the scuffle, there were offsetting fouls and Sherman was not ejected.
