Every month, Netflix giveth, and Netflix taketh away. This will be a particularly tough month though, with several fan favorites getting the boot from the Netflix servers to clear up room.
Among the notable TV shows getting taken down are Louie, 30 Rock, My Name is Earl, and The Bernie Mac Show.
In the movies department, The Shining, Mulholland Dr. Titanic, and Mr. 3000 are all coming off as well. It’s a tough Netflix month for Bernie Mac fans.
Exactly what goes into the decision making process behind what gets to stay and what gets taken down appears to be highly subjective. It’s hard to imagine that it’s wholly traffic based, as there is always outrage over one title or another coming off the site on a monthly basis.
