Well, this is awkward, especially if you are Atlanta Falcons rookie Takkarist McKinley.
On Friday, McKinley took to social media to share a hilarious auction he found online. After losing a dreadlock during last weekend’s game against the Detroit Lions at Ford Field, McKinley found his hair available for sale on eBay.
The bidding started at $1 for the lock and McKinley was amused.
Whoever found the stray hair could be in for a nice little payday, though.
“I’m pretty sure it is Takkarist McKinleys dreadlock,” the seller wrote. “MUST HAVE for Falcons fans and people who are into voodoo.”
In case you were wondering, people are actually bidding.
At the time of this post, 27 people have bid on the auction with the total price currently sitting at $242.50. That’s not a bad haul for finding a piece of hair on a football field.
As an added bonus, whoever wins the auction gets to have Brooks Reed’s mouthpiece for free.
