Ohio State football star J.T. Barrett continues to solidify his status as a Buckeyes legend.
On Saturday night against Rutgers, Barrett broke a record that was in place since 1981. With the Buckeyes well ahead of the Scarlet Knights, Barrett broke Art Schlichter’s record to become Ohio State’s all-time leader in passing yards.
The senior signal-caller surpassed the record of 7,548.
Ohio State celebrated the news with a post on social media:

Barrett contributed 275 yards and three touchdowns through the air thus far, with an additional 89 yards on the ground on 10 carries.
Congratulations to J.T. Barrett on the accomplishment.
