College Football Rankings: Division II Top 25, Week 6

There has been a little reshuffling in the top five of the AFCA Top 25 Poll. After completing the fifth week of the season, Minnesota State has snuck into the top five. But as they ascend, California(Pa.) falls, dropping from the fifth spot all the way down to No. 16 following a 47-44 overtime loss to Slippery Rock, which rose from No. 18 to No. 12 overall.
Two teams fell out of the latest rankings altogether: LIU (NY) was ranked 24th, and Catawba (NC) was ranked No. 23.
Both teams continue to receive some support to remain ranked, though LIU received only one vote.
Colorado Mesa saw perhaps the biggest drop, going from No.8 to No. 21 after a loss to Colorado State-Pueblo.
There were few head-to-head meetings between ranked opponents in Division II this week, but Week 6 promises to be a doozy. With a total of four Top 25 matchups, there will be significant amount of shuffling on the leaderboard.
