LaVar Ball Says Magic Johnson 'Can't Tell Me What To Do'

LaVar Ball hasn’t fallen out of the media stream, he just isn’t dominating every story the way he used to.
Lakers president Magic Johnson revealed that LaVar told him his bombastic and brash personality was mostly about marketing, but that doesn’t make it any less of a problem.
Ball and Johnson will be tied together for the next decade or so after the Lakers chose Lonzo Ball with the second overall pick, so for the sake of peace and harmony, let’s hope this is another case of media mongering.
On Saturday, LaVar Ball issued a statement you’d expect a child to give a step-parent.
Sometimes it’s hard to believe that the three Ball brothers, all driven and singularly focused, were all raised by a guy willing to go on the record with something like this:


Perhaps it’s an instance of being fooled by the scale, but as far as LaVar Ball comments go, this is mild. Once you say any one of the things LaVar has said, it’s going to take a whale of a statement to make waves again.
