Oakland Raiders Donate $50,000 To Las Vegas Shooting Victims

The country woke up to some of the most horrific news they could possibly imagine. A mass shooting in Las Vegas has left over 50 people dead and more than 500 injured.
As the story develops and everyone comes to grips with what happened, many of the victims are hospitalized and are fighting for their life.
With the Oakland Raiders soon to become the Las Vegas Raiders, they have a personal investment in the affected community. As such, the generously donated $50,000 to the GoFundMe page set up by Clark County Commission Chair Steve Sisolak.
In only four hours, the fundraising campaign is nearing it’s goal of $1 million.

TMZSports confirmed that the donation had indeed been made by the Oakland Raiders.
The fundraising effort will be used to “provide relief and financial support to the victims and families of the horrific Las Vegas mass shooting”.
The sudden overflow of patients being taken to the hospital was so great, that those with non-life threatening injuries were being asked not to go to the emergency room. The nearby hospital handling the bulk of those affected was already at capacity as paramedics and loved ones scrambled to get those in need in capable hands.
