College Football Rankings: FWAA-NFF Super 16 Poll, Week 6

Week 6 of the college football season is in the books which means the Football Writers Association of America and National Football Foundation have revealed the latest FWAA-NFF Super 16 poll.
Alabama continues its dominance in the college football world, maintaining the No. 1 spot and collecting 38 of a possible 48 first-place votes. Clemson sits behind in a distant second with 10 first-place votes, followed by Penn State, Georgia and Washington to round out the top ten.
TCU surged in this week’s poll to No. 6 after upending West Virginia on Saturday, while Wisconsin and Washington State continue to establish themselves as serious contenders for the College Football Playoff.
