Dabo Swinney could have been furious with his team following their loss to unranked Syracuse on Friday night, but the Clemson football coach was all class.
After the No. 2 Tigers fell to the Orange, Swinney made a direct line to Syracuse coach Dino Babers.
As Swinney and Babers embraced at midfield, the Tigers head coach appears to say, “I’m so happy for you,” despite suffering one of the worst upset losses in recent memory.

And that isn’t where he stopped.
According to ESPN.com, Swinney made his way to the Syracuse locker room to congratulate the Orange for knocking off the defending national champions.
“That’s one of the classiest things I’ve seen in my life,” Syracuse linebacker Zaire Franklin said. “To have been knocked down like that and have the humility to come talk to us, that was cool as hell.”
While the loss definitely knocks Clemson down a few notches, the Tigers should still be in control of their own destiny if they can win out and earn the conference championship. After all, it was just a year ago that Clemson fell to Pitt before going on to win the national title.
Clemson will regroup next week on their bye before returning to action on Saturday, Oct. 28 at home against Georgia Tech.
