Conor McGregor can’t seem to get away from the spotlight.
Even when he’s not in the Octagon, he’s drawing the ire of the referee. During the fight between his SBG Ireland teammate Artem Lobov and Team Alpha Male’s Andre Fili at UFC Fight Night 118 in Gdansk, Poland, the referee stopped the fight and ordered McGregor to go back to his seat.
McGregor didn’t make any qualms about it though, apologizing to the referee as he went back to his seat.

McGregor was told to go back to his seat because he was unofficially acting as the cornerman for his teammate and friend. McGregor was shouting directions and pacing around the Octagon before his the referee stopped the fight and told him to “be professional and go back to his seat.”

Perhaps it would have been to Lobov’s benefit to have The Notorious in his corner. He was taken to task by Fili, and lost by unanimous decision, 30-27 on all three scorecards.
