Could Stanford football star Bryce Love watch his Heisman campaign come to an end this week?
On Tuesday, Cardinal head coach David Shaw revealed the standout running back will be a “game-time decision” for Thursday night’s game against Oregon State in Corvallis.
According to Shaw, Love is suffering from an ankle injury.
A short recovery week certainly doesn’t help his ability to return to the field in just two days. But even if Love is unable to practice this week, there remains a chance that he will suit up.

This season, Love is leading the nation in rushing.
Love, a junior, currently has 1,387 yards and 11 touchdowns on the year.
If he is unable to go on Thursday night, that could provide a devastating blow to his Heisman chances, especially if Penn State running back Saquon Barkley has another big game against Ohio State.
