UNC basketball standout Joel Berry is set to miss the next month due to a hand injury.
When it was first announced that the senior guard would be missing time, the university failed to provide any additional details. However, according to head coach Roy Williams, Berry’s injury came after losing a video game.
Berry allegedly broke his hand on a door.
This is why you shouldn’t take video games so seriously, kids.

Now that Berry will be out of the lineup for the foreseeable future, the Tar Heels will have to lean on freshman Jalek Felton and sophomore Seventh Woods.
UNC kicks off its national title defense against Northern Iowa on Nov. 10.
