GLORY 48 New York Adds UFC Veteran Thiago Silva

GLORY kickboxing’s return to New York City for GLORY 48 at Madison Square Garden has some new additions.
Most notably, former UFC light heavyweight Thiago Silva will be taking part in the co-headlining bout against a yet-to-be-named opponent.
Along with Silva’s addition to the card, GLORY announced three of the four participants — Robert Thomas, Wayne Barrett and Mike Lemaire — for the night’s middleweight tournament.
GLORY 48 New York will be headlined by an interim featherweight title match between Kevin VanNostrand and an opponent to be named later.
GLORY 48 New York will be carried live on ESPN3 at 10:00 p.m. ET on Dec. 1, while the GLORY 48 Superfight Series will take place beginning at 7:30 p.m. ET on UFC Fight Pass.
