UFC Fight Night 119 Results & Video Highlights: Derek Brunson KOs Lyoto Machida

The Ultimate Fighting Championship returned to Brazil on Saturday night for UFC Fight Night 119 in Sao Paulo.

In the main event, former light heavyweight champion Lyoto Machida made his return to the Octagon after serving an 18-month suspension. Machida was matched up against the heavy-handed Derek Brunson.

Unfortunately for Machida, his return in his home country did not go as planned with Brunson scoring a vicious first-round knockout.

Colby Covington stood out in the co-main event, earning a decision victory over Demian Maia in impressive fashion. Covington and Maia exchanged plenty of shots on the feet and both left their opponents bloodied.

If you missed out on Saturday night’s action, we have you covered.
