Former No. 1 overall pick Jadeveon Clowney made a statement at the Houston Texans’ Halloween party on Monday night.
In a video uploaded to his Instagram story, Clowney can be seen wearing an orange jumpsuit and it doesn’t take much effort to know what Clowney was referring to with his costume.
Clowney was clearly referring to team owner Bob McNair’s “inmates” comments that caused a stir last week.
McNair said NFL owners cannot let “inmates run the prison,” which led to star wide receiver DeAndre Hopkins and rookie running back D’Onta Foreman walking out of practice.
The team also came together to protest the comments on Sunday evening, with all but ten players taking a knee during the national anthem.
It’s clear that those comments were still on Clowney’s mind.
