This week will feature a number of all black uniforms. Iowa, Rutgers, Missouri, Mississippi State, and Utah will all be in blackout mode. But the University of Miami is drawing the most attention for the “Miami Nights” edition uniforms that they’ll be wearing against the Virginia Tech Hokies.
But there are a number of other programs who are breaking out new combinations this week.
From UNLV to Villanova, there’s no shortage of programs who will be looking their best as they make their way out of the tunnel this week.

The Canes are hoping that they’re able to recapture some of the magic they had earlier this season when they wore their all-green “State of Miami” uniforms. this week, they need a big win to remain alive in the College Football Playoff conversation.

Iowa has been one of the tougher teams to predict this season. They’ve made life difficult for the better teams on their schedule, but have often been accused of playing down to their opponent when they’re favored.
This week they draw a tough matchup against a surging Ohio State squad. They’re hoping to bury the Buckeyes this week, and they’re dressed for a funeral.

Meanwhile, Mizzou is coming out in the conference matchup against he Florida Gators in their all-blacks. The Gators are reeling, and are playing their first week under Randy Shannon after coach Jim McElwain was let go.

But while some zig, the others zag. The college football world might have caught black uniform fever, but the Arizona Sun Devils will be coming out in an all white ensemble. The uniforms, which have been titled the “Brotherhood” uniforms, are accented by the traditional ASU colors.
