NC State football coach Dave Doeren quite done talking about the sideline controversy against Clemson which led to Doeren calling out the Tigers and saying the program should be investigated.
Clemson maintains the laptop belonged to a social media staffer.
During this week’s ACC coaches teleconference, Doeren once again commented on the situation but claims that there are no hard feelings between he and Dabo Swinney.
“Look, I’m not a politically correct guy,” Doeren said.
“I coach with a lot of passion. Our kids play with it. He does the same thing. At the end of the game, when you lose a game that has conference championship game implications on it, sometimes things are going to be said. I don’t think it’s a big deal. I’m going to move and I’m sure he will, too. He’s got a big game this week.”
Phew. Now we can put that controversy behind us.
The Wolfpack returns to action on Saturday against Boston College. Kickoff is set for noon ET.
