It’s been a bad weekend for Arkansas football fans.
On top of the Razorbacks’ 33-10 loss to LSU, one notable Razorback has landed himself behind bars after being arrested for DWI and careless driving.
Quarterback Cole Kelley was taken into custody early Sunday morning, according to the Washington County Sheriff’s Office. He was released after benign custody for three hours.
Coach Bret Bielema issued a statement shortly after, though he didn’t provide any new information about the arrest.
It appears those at the university are still scrambling to put the details together themselves.

Kelley was the Razorbacks starting quarterback for the last few weeks while Austin Allen was out with injury. He returned to action against LSU, and Kelley saw his time on the field take a huge hit. He attempted only 10 passes, completed only three, and threw an interception.
It remains to be seen if there will be any legal disciplinary action.
At the very least, you can expect Bielema to leverage a suspension of some kind, even if it is short-term.
