If you were looking to bet on who will win the Heisman Trophy, you’ll have to look to do so somewhere other than Bovada.
This week, the betting service has pulled the Heisman Trophy odds because Oklahoma Sooners star quarterback Baker Mayfield is too big of a favorite.
“Heisman odds are currently off the board as Baker Mayfield is too big of a favorite. He was 1/20 last week and would be even bigger this week,” Bovada stated.
Mayfield has been running away with the award since surpassing Penn State’s Saquon Barkley earlier this season.

MGM had Mayfield listed at -250 as of last Monday, when the book took the odds off the board in compliance with Nevada Gaming Control regulations. The Westgate SuperBook closed Mayfield as even a bigger favorite at -2,000 on Sunday.
This season, Mayfield has thrown for 3,816 yards, 34 touchdowns and just five interceptions.
