Colin Kaepernick hasn’t given up on his football career despite the NFL continuing to blackball him. But while he bides his time for an opportunity in the league, he might as well get a part-time job.

According to TMZ, a well known casting director is apparently showing some interest in getting Kaepernick some work as an actor.

Whatever he lands, it will be his first role, but if he does well, it might not be his last.

It’s not clear what the casting director is interested in casting Kaepernick for. She is apparently working on a new sitcom pilot, and is also working on the Pepsi-inspired “Uncle Drew” movie.

A cameo in a film predominantly featuring fellow professional athletes would make the most sense.

Kaepernick is currently in the middle of a collusion lawsuit against the NFL. If he wins the case, it could be a landmark decision against the league.
