A video obtained by TMZ Sports shows two Georgia Tech football players involved in a fight in the team’s training center earlier this year.
The players involved, starting defensive backs Step Durham and Lance Austin, appeared to be arguing when the video began. At that point, Austin approaches Durham, but is caught with a quick right hand.
Austin immediately crashes to the ground, taking a chair with him, and is visibly unconscious.
Durham then picks up his unconscious teammate as the video cuts off.
There is no word on whether either player was punished, but TMZ reports the players told the coaching staff about their altercation and insisted that their beef was squashed.
“Georgia Tech’s football coaching staff became aware of the incident between teammates and friends shortly after it occurred. Discipline was handled internally,” the program told TMZ in a statement.
