Former NFL Star Greg Hardy Returns To MMA On Dec. 1

Former NFL star Greg Hardy is set to return to mixed martial arts this weekend.
On Wednesday afternoon, FloCombat announced it will be streaming Hardy’s sophomore appearance inside of the cage exclusively on its online streaming service.
Hardy (1-0) won his MMA debut ealier this year with a 32-second knockout.
On Friday night, the former NFL All-Pro will take on Kenneth Woods at Rite of Passage 2 at Horseshoe Casino Riverdome in Bossier, Louisiana.
Hardy starred for the Carolina Panthers and Dallas Cowboys throughout his career, which spanned from 2010-15. He recorded 40 sacks, earning Pro Bowl and second-team All-Pro honors in 2013.
His career was not without controversy, however. The defensive end was arrested for allegedly assaulting his ex-girlfriend and was eventually released by the Cowboys after finding his way in head coach Jason Garrett’s doghouse due to inappropriate tweets and being a bad influence on the team’s younger players.
Now, training at American Top Team in Coconut Creek, Florida, Hardy is looking to redefine himself.
Hardy vs. Woods will serve as the main event of AKA: Rite of Passage 2.
