FSU Football Recruiting: Three Recruits Decommit From Seminoles

The FSU football program is in turmoil with questions surrounding the future of head coach Jimbo Fisher in Tallahassee looming over the Seminoles.
The uncertainty at the top has led to the Seminoles losing out big on the recruiting trail.
On Wednesday night, three recruits decommitted Florida State which is a big factor in the Seminoles hoping Fisher makes a decision sooner rather than later about whether he will be leaving to accept the Texas A&M head coaching job.
Four-star cornerback Houston Griffith and three-star safety Israel Mukuama made their decisions to decommit from Florida State within an hour of each other on Wednesday night. Shortly after, the Seminoles lost out on another four-star prospect, with center Verdis Brown announcing he was also re-opening his recruitment.

Griffith is now favoring Notre Dame, Mukuamu is being heavily pursued by South Carolina, and Illinois has emerged as the favorite to land Brown.
If Fisher doesn’t make a decision about his future soon, we could continue to see a mass exodus of recruits from Tallahassee.
