The 2017-18 college football bowl season officially kicks off on Saturday, Dec. 16 with the Celebration Bowl in Atlanta, Georgia — the host of this year’s College Football Playoff National Championship game. The game will be between North Carolina A&T and Grambling State.
Bowl season will run through the national championship game on Monday, Jan. 8.
This year’s College Football Playoff national semifinals will take place one week prior on Monday, Jan. 1, with No. 1 Clemson vs. No. 4 Alabama going head-to-head in the Allstate Sugar Bowl and No. 3 Georgia vs. No. 2 Oklahoma in the Rose Bowl.
We come full circle with the two winners meeting where bowl season kicks off, at the brand new home of the Atlanta Falcons, Mercedes-Benz Stadium.
