Early Monday morning, the UEFA Champions League Round of 16 draw took place in Switzerland with the top soccer clubs in the world learning who they will be facing in the knockout stages of the most prestigious tournament in the sport.
A record five English clubs are featured in the Round of 16, with Chelsea, Manchester United, Liverpool, Manchester City and Tottenham representing the Premier League. Spanish giants Real Madrid and Barcelona are once again in the knockout stage, along with European giants Paris Saint-Germain, Bayern Munich and Juventus.
It was a tough draw for Chelsea and undoubtedly the toughest draw for the English clubs. It will mark the sixth time Chelsea have faced Barcelona in the knockout stages of the tournament.
Real Madrid vs. Paris St-Germain is also a mouth-watering matchup in the Round of 16, along with Juventus vs. Tottenham.
