The moment LiAngelo and LaMelo Ball signed to play with professional Lithuanian basketball club Vytautas Prienai, people were wondering how their outspoken father, LaVar Ball, would get along with his son’s new head coach, Virginijus Seskus.
LaVar has a history of calling out his son’s coaches, so could the relationship be doomed before it even starts?
That’s where it gets interesting.
As it turns out, Seskus has been dubbed “The LaVar Ball of Lithuania” because of his own outspoken nature and brash antics on the court. The coach is apparently a “high energy guy” who “loves getting technical fouls.”
Do we have a match made in heaven?

But that’s not all.
This season, the Prienu Vytautas head coach pulled a page directly out of LaVar Ball’s playbook, pulling his team from the court in the middle of a tie game after being fed up with a foul call.
That’s exactly what LaVar Ball did with his AAU team during a disagreement with officials over the summer.
Whether the Balls have success in Lithuania remains to be seen, but it certainly looks like we should be prepared for one hell of a ride.
