LiAngelo and LaMelo Ball will be heading overseas to officially begin their new professional basketball careers with Lithuanian club Vytautas Prienai.
There has been plenty of speculation about how big of a disaster this experiment could be for the Ball brothers, but there is also plenty of anticipation to see how they will perform.
There’s also the question of when they will make their Vytautas Prienai debuts.
Well, according to Lithuanian basketball reporter Simonas Baranauskas, ‘Melo and ‘Gelo are expected to make their Lithuanian debuts against BC Tsmoki-Minsk on Jan. 9.
And if you were wondering just how excited Lithuanian fans are to see the Ball show come to town, ticket prices are soaring.
If you want to pay up for the Vytautas Prienai – BC Tsmoki-Minsk matchup, you better be a Big Baller… kind of.
Typically priced at 2.40 euro, the tickets for the Balls’ debut are starting at 7.30 euro — or about $8.60. For a low-level Lithuanian basketball game, that is an astronomical price.
Let the games begin.
