It will be the 24th time that the former Big 12 foes meet on the gridiron.
The two programs last met in 2011, with the Longhorns winning 15 of the last 17 meetings between the two. In the series, Texas holds an overall advantage of 17-6.
It marks Texas’ first bowl game since 2014.
Missouri will also be in the postseason after a three-year hiatus.
