The Penn State football team is leading No. 11 Washington early in the fourth quarter of the PlayStation Fiesta Bowl, but one of the most impressive plays of the game came courtesy of the Nittany Lions mascot.
As Washington was attempting to throw the ball away, the ball went right in the direction of the mascot.
The mascot dropped to his knees to make the impressive grab, which was met by applause from the crowd and the Penn State cheerleaders by his side. The Nittany Lion held the ball up in triumph to make sure everyone knew who made the play.

Not too shabby.
Saquon Barkley’s contributions on the field may have made more of an impact on the scoreboard, but the Nittany Lion’s grab holds a special place in our heart.
