NFL Draft Rumors 2018: 'No Way' Browns Pass On Josh Allen

The Cleveland Browns are on the clock with the No. 1 overall pick in the 2018 NFL Draft and they already may have their sites set on a certain player with their first selection.
According to MMQB’s Peter King, a veteran NFL scout believes there is “no way” the Browns will pass on Allen.
“I believe there is no way Cleveland, at number one, will pass on [Wyoming quarterback] Josh Allen. This is Wentz reincarnated. Allen’s a perfect Dorsey quarterback,” the scout said. “Just watch.”
It would certainly be an interesting pick for the Browns, who have failed to turn any of their recent draftees into a franchise quarterback.
Could Allen finally be the one?
While there is no denying Allen has NFL size and arm talent, there are questions about his accuracy. During the 2017 campaign, Allen completed less than 50 percent of his passes in three of his games. He completed more than 60 percent of his passes just three times.
Many believe Allen will need to sit his rookie season to adapt to the NFL, so if he is forced to play immediately, it could spell another disaster for Cleveland. Of course, plenty can change between now and the NFL Draft, so we will have to see how it all plays out.
The 2018 NFL Draft takes place April 26-28 at AT&T Stadium in Arlington, Texas.
