Former UFC women’s strawweight champion Joanna Jedrzejczyk received an incredible honor from her native country of Poland.
Over the weekend, Jedrzejczyk had the opportunity to carry the Olympic torch for Poland during the torch relay leading up to the 2018 Winter Olympics in Pyeongchang County, South Korea.
The torch relay concludes on Feb. 9, when the 2018 Winter Games officially kickoff.
A total of 7,500 torchbearers carry the torch from Greece to PyeongChang and Jedrzejczyk had her leg take place on Sunday.
Jedrzejczyk shared video and photo of the moment on social media.
“For Poland, for the UFC family, for all of you,” Jedrzejczyk wrote on Instagram.
