It looks like the Denver Broncos have their eyes on one specific quarterback in the 2018 NFL Draft class.

According to Senior Bowl Executive Director Phil Savage, the Broncos have requested that Oklahoma Sooners quarterback Baker Mayfield be placed on their team for the Senior Bowl.

Denver is set to coach the North squad, while the Houston Texans will lead the South.

The Heisman Trophy winning signal-caller is one of the top quarterbacks who will be participating in the Senior Bowl, along with Wyoming’s Josh Allen and Mason Rudolph of Oklahoma State.

The Broncos currently hold the No. 5 overall pick in the draft. If they stay in place, the top two quarterbacks — UCLA’s Josh Rosen and Sam Darnold of USC — will likely be off the board making Mayfield a legitimate option in the top five.

The Senior Bowl will take place on Jan. 27 at Ladd-Peebles Stadium in Mobile, Alabama.
