Deion Sanders will not be joining the FSU football team’s coaching staff.
Despite some initial flirtation and interest in coaching the Florida State defensive backs under new Seminoles head coach Willie Taggart, Sanders has reportedly decided against joining the FBS coaching ranks.
Sanders appeared on the sidelines for Florida State’s bowl game, took a photo with Taggart and hinted he could join the staff by saying “you never know,” but ultimately he chose a different path.
The news comes from college football insider Brett McMurphy.
