On Tuesday, Bovada released its latest Heisman Trophy betting odds for the 2018 college football season.
In what comes as little of a surprise, Stanford running back Bryce Love, who was a Heisman finalist last season, opens as a narrow favorite for the sport’s most prestigious award at 7/1.
Following close behind Love is Wisconsin running back Johnathan Taylor and Arizona quarterback Khalil Tate.
Alabama quarterback Tua Tagovailoa comes as the biggest surprise on the list, coming in at No. 4 with 10/1 odds despite rarely playing during the 2017 season. Tagovailoa, however, did become an instant sensation when he came off the bench in the second half of the College Football Playoff National Championship Game to lead the Crimson Tide to a come-from-behind victory.
