The Stanford football program will be going through most of the spring without quarterback K.J. Costello.
According to a report from Sports Illustrated, the sophomore signal-caller is nursing a hip injury that will keep him sidelined for the immediate future.

Costello appeared poised to replaced 2017 starter Keller Chryst, who left the program as a graduate transfer.
Last season, Costello threw for 14 touchdowns and just four interceptions.
With Costello unavailable, the lone quarterbacks on the Stanford roster are sophomore Davis Mills and junior Jack Richardson.
