It’s the final full day of action at the 2018 Winter Olympics in PyeongChang, South Korea.
Entering the day, Norway remains atop the medal count with a world-leading 13 gold medals and 38 overall (14 silver and 11 bronze). Canada has 29 overall medals (11 gold, 8 silver, and 10 bronze), while Germany rounds out the top three with 28 overall medals.
The United States is at four with 23 (9 gold, 8 silver, and 6 bronze) and the Netherlands rounds out the top five with 20 medals of their own. No other country has more than 16.
Today’s gold medal events in alpine skiing, cross-country skiing, curling, ice hockey, snowboard and speed skating, with the United States men’s curling team already claiming its first-ever gold medal.
