The 2018 Big East men’s basketball tournament is set to begin next week at New York City’s iconic Madison Square Garden.
It promises to be an exciting tournament as March Madness heats up, with two Big East teams — Villanova (No. 3) and Xavier (No. 4) — currently ranked inside of the top five.
Villanova is the defending Big East tournament champion, knocking off Creighton in 2017 to claim the conference championship and a No. 1 seed in the East Regional — which was played in New York City — before falling to the No. 8 seed Wisconsin Badgers in the Round of 32.
Every game throughout the opening rounds of the tournament will air on FOX Sports 1, with the championship game set to air on FOX.
