Josh Allen Receives High Praise Ahead Of Wyoming Pro Day

Josh Allen is arguably the top quarterback in the 2018 NFL Draft and many believe he will be in the mix for the Cleveland Browns’ No. 1 overall pick next month in Arlington, Texas. But on Friday, Allen will have another opportunity to show off his talent and convince doubters that he is the top signal-caller when he takes the field for the Wyoming Pro Day.
Ahead of the Cowboys’ Pro Day, which will really be the Josh Allen Show, former NFL quarterback Jordan Palmer had nothing but high praise for the gunslinger.
Appearing on the Dan Patrick Show, Palmer praised USC quarterback Sam Darnold, before saying Allen ” is maybe the most talented dude I’ve ever seen.”
Here are the full coments, as transcribed by USA TODAY Sports:

“As easy as it would be to take Sam [Darnold] with the whole body of work, Dan, this kid Josh Allen is maybe the most talented dude I’ve ever seen.

I mean, size, arm talent, also just how intelligent he is. The type of person he is. He’s from a smaller school and he’s had a really interesting route. No offers, Ju-Co, Wyoming.

Sam, in most drafts, is I think a lock to be No. 1, but I think Josh is going to do so well tomorrow that it’s going to be interesting.

…. He creates so much energy, and it’s so effortless. He’s nice and trim for the combine, but he’ll play at 245 – and he’s really fast, too.”

Allen’s Pro Day will air on the NFL Network live on Friday afternoon. NFL Draft analyst Mike Mayock will provide analysis of the workout along with Daniel Jeremiah, Rhett Lewis, and Bucky Brooks.
