In the first of the late-night sessions as the Sweet 16 resumes on Thursday night, it’s a battle of Wildcats in the South Region as the No. 9 seed Kansas State Wildcats and No. 5 seed Kentucky Wildcats square off at Philips Arena in Atlanta.
Kentucky enters the game as slight favorites.
Kansas State took down Creighton in the First Round and then dethroned Cinderella UMBC, the first No. 16 seed in NCAA Tournament history to beat a No. 1 seed, while Kentucky had a relatively easy path against No. 12 Davidson and No. 13 Buffalo.
